# Battle Royale

## New Legendary Items

### Ghastly Whistle

- Players can find the Dried Ghast hidden in Soul Sand Valley Fossils.
    - Right-click to pick up the Dried Ghast.
- Right-click the Ghastly Whistle to summon the Happy Ghast!
    - Up to 4 players can ride the Happy Ghast at once.
    - Land on the ground to despawn the Happy Ghast.
    - The Happy Ghast has 2 rows of hearts.
    - Cooldown ranges between 10s - 120s depending on the health of the Ghast.
- Right-click the Ghastly Whistle while in flight to launch a Fireball.
    - 4 second cooldown.

### Ribbit Reel

- Players can pickup frogs with a water bucket to acquire a Bucket of Frog.
- Load and shoot the Ribbit Reel to launch a high-speed tongue, pulling back the first player in it’s path.
    - Players hit by the frog’s tongue will receive 3 seconds of Slowness 4.
    - 22 second cooldown.
- Jump on lilypads while holding the Ribbit Reel to launch yourself forwards.

### Soul Gauntlet

- Right-click to summon clones to fight for you!
- 2 clones are summoned by default
    - Shift+Right-click to add Player Heads which summon an additional clone for each unique head.
    - Heads in the Soul Gauntlet are not consumed by the ability.
    - Clones spawn with very low health, do not drop items, and will disappear after 15 seconds.
    - 45 second cooldown, +5 seconds for each additional head.
- Hold the Gauntlet in your offhand to gain +1 Armor.

### Death Note

- Crafting the Death Note will not announce the crafters name in chat.
- Right-click to write a player’s name in the Death Note, and steal a permanent heart from them.
    - Maximum 5 uses.
    - 60s cooldown.
- Shift+Right-click to inflict the curse of death on another player.
    - The target chosen to die 3 minutes after the ability is casted. They will then have one chance to guess who has the Death Note.
    - If the target guesses incorrectly, they will be eliminated.
    - If the target guesses correctly, they will not be eliminated.
    - Players will not be notified of who crafted the Death Note.
    - Kills using Death Note will not say the name of the player who killed them.

- Poseidon’s Trident → Cloud Sword

- Guardian Cannon → Shrink Ray
- Crimson Chainsword → Magma Club

## Easter Eggs

- Easter Eggs can now be found in Hoplite structures.
    - The frequency of Easter Eggs in a structure varies each game.
    - Easter Eggs contain valuable loot that can allow for different play-styles and set you up for the early game.
    - Easter Eggs will continue to spawn for the duration of April.
    - Collect 100 eggs over the month of April to receive a free mystery crate.

### Custom Game Changes

- Tickets now come in 3 variants.
    - Battle Pass Ticket - Awarded from battle pass, tips are disabled.
    - Golden Ticket - Purchased for 950 gems, tipping enabled.
    - Juggernaut Ticket - Purchased for 4750 gems, allows hosting of Juggernaut games.
- Players now receive an item which can be clicked to tip the host.
- Tips have been increased to award 1500 Coins to the host and 100 to the tipper.
- Purchasing a Custom Game no longer awards 50,000 Coins.

## Golden Food

- Golden Food can now be found in all structures.
    - Golden Food has a chance at replacing all food found in any structure.
    - Golden Food gives the player 2 hearts of absorbtion & regeneration when consumed.
    - Golden Food can not be obtained by killing mobs, farming crops, etc.

## Changes to Large Structures

- Fixed unwanted mechanics.
    - Removed player heads / unwanted blocks (Block of Diamond, Block of Gold, etc).
    - Decreased mob health / armor.
    - Mobs no longer drop player heads.
    - Loot table changes (Less legendary weapon key ingredients).
    - Less frequent mob spawning from spawners.
    - All structures now have an opportunity to spawn.
    - Increased structure spacing and separation (spawn frequency).

## Changes

- Structures from ‘Large Map and Modded Structures’ have been added to Battle Royale
- Added leaderboards for Ranks Gifted and Custom Games Hosted.
- Artemis Bow homing chance increased from 20% → 30%.
- Enderbow now requires a fully-charged arrow to spawn an Endermite.
- Crimson Chainsword now requires a fully-charged swing to use the Bleeding ability.
- Pufferfish Cannon range has been reduced and the cooldown has been increased from 20s → 25s.
- Gunpowder spawn frequency has been reduced in Structures.
- Ender Pearls will spawn less often in Cornucopia and Structure chests.
- Flame now requires 32 Emeralds to trade from villagers.
- Multishot now requires 48 Emeralds to trade from villagers.
- Reaper Scythe recipe has been updated to no longer require obsidian.
- Jim the Sorcerer’s recipe now requires black dye instead of black candles.
- Cornucopias now include more chests over a larger area.
- The gulag has been added as a custom game scenario
- The quests button in the shop has been replaced with the new gem shop.

## Fixes

- Looting once again impacts chicken feather drops.
- Heads no longer drop from Modded Structure mobs.
- Large Map & Parallel Underground are no longer compatible.
- Shrink Ray is now usable in Bowless scenario games.
- Juggernauts no longer share cooldowns on Legendary items.

# Duels

### Changes

- The quests button in the shop has been replaced with the new gem shop.

### Competitive

- The competitive rewards have been adjusted moving forward:
    - Copper: 5 Gems
    - Iron: 10 Gems
    - Gold: 30 Gems
    - Diamond: 50 Gems
    - Master: 75 Gems
    - Champion: 150 Gems
- VIPs now receive a 2x Bonus when claiming their reward gems at the end of the competitive season.

- New limited time Easter Crate is now available with tons of new cosmetics:

# Other

- A new gem shop npc has arrived in the Duels and Battle Royale Lobby.
    - This new shop is a central marketplace where you can spend gems on the server.
- Battle Royale star levels will now be displayed in the discord as roles
